Hearty Lentil and Red Pepper Soup

What Started it all:
Lentils, Bell pepper, salt, blender


  • 1 cup of lentils
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • Salt to taste


  1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Chop the red bell peppers into small pieces.
  3. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
  4. Add the lentils and chopped bell peppers to the boiling water.
  5. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
  6. Once the lentils are cooked, carefully transfer the mixture to a blender.
  7. Blend until smooth, adding salt to taste.
  8. Return the blended soup to the pot and gently reheat if necessary.
