Italian Salami and Tomato Pasta Recipe for 2 People

Salami, onion, tomate, garlic
This Italian-inspired pasta dish is quick and easy to make, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Salami and tomatoes sautéed with onions and garlic make a flavourful sauce that pairs beautifully with your favourite pasta.
Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 150g salami, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the salami to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the skillet and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, until the tomatoes are slightly softened.
- Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Divide the pasta between two plates and serve immediately.
