Ingredients

  • Dried herbs (oregano, thyme, basil)
  • Crockpot

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the crockpot. Add the peanuts and a sprinkle of the dried herbs.
  2. Cook the peanuts in the crockpot until they are golden and fragrant.
  3. While the peanuts are cooking, carefully separate the lettuce leaves and wash them thoroughly. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  4. Once the peanuts are ready, remove them from the crockpot and let them cool for a few minutes.
  5. Crush the peanuts using a mortar and pestle or a food processor until they are finely chopped.
  6. Sprinkle the crushed peanuts over the lettuce leaves.
  7. Roll the lettuce leaves with the peanuts inside, creating little wraps.
  8. Serve the Japanese Peanut Lettuce Wraps immediately and enjoy!
