Korean Chia Seed Cabbage Soup

Chia Seeds, Cabbage, broth or stock (chicken, vegetable), blender


  • 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 4 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 6 cups broth or stock (chicken or vegetable)
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a blender, blend the chia seeds with 1 cup of water until it forms a smooth gel-like consistency.
  2. In a large pot, bring the broth or stock to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage to the pot and stir well.
  4. Pour the blended chia seed mixture into the pot and stir to combine.
  5. Let the soup simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  6. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
