Almonds, Collard greens, coffee, air fryer

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 bunch Collard greens
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. While the air fryer is heating up, wash and dry the collard greens. Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the collard greens with olive oil, brewed coffee, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned collard greens in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the leaves are crispy and slightly charred.
  5. Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until they are golden and fragrant.
  6. Once the collard greens are done, transfer them to a serving plate and sprinkle the toasted almonds on top.
  7. Serve this Korean-inspired air fried collard green salad as a delicious side dish or a light main course for 4 people.
