Lemon and Herb Chicken Breast

This recipe serves 4 people and is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy chicken breast.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and turn to coat them evenly in the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight if possible.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sides such as roasted vegetables, rice, or salad.
