Ingredients

  • 2 lbs short ribs
  • 1 lb green beans
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 rice cooker

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the short ribs until browned on all sides.
  4. Transfer the short ribs to a roasting pan and add the garlic cloves to the pan.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the short ribs are tender.
  6. While the short ribs are roasting, steam the green beans in the rice cooker until they are tender-crisp.
  7. Once the short ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the short ribs with the roasted garlic and steamed green beans.
