This quick and easy recipe combines the rich flavors of mackerel with the nutritious goodness of kale, all tossed with pasta cooked in a rice cooker. Perfect for a delicious meal for four people.

Ingredients

  • 4 mackerel fillets
  • 8 cups of kale, chopped
  • 400g of pasta
  • Water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the pasta in the rice cooker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season the mackerel fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Once the pasta is done, remove it from the rice cooker and set it aside.
  4. In the same rice cooker, place the chopped kale and add a little water. Close the lid and let the kale steam for a few minutes until it's tender.
  5. While the kale is steaming, cook the seasoned mackerel fillets in a separate pan until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Once the kale is tender, add the cooked pasta to the rice cooker with the kale. Mix everything together until well combined.
  7. Finally, gently flake the cooked mackerel fillets and add them to the pasta and kale mixture.
  8. Toss everything together and adjust the seasoning if needed.
