This Mediterranean-inspired recipe combines tender pork chops with flavorful herbs and hearty cabbage for a delicious and satisfying meal.


  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil


  1. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and a pinch of each dried herb on both sides.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the shredded cabbage and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  5. Season the cabbage with the remaining dried herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the pork chops on a bed of the sautéed cabbage.
