A flavorful and nutritious dish that combines the sweetness of shrimp with the crunch of cabbage, all wrapped up in a rich and savory tomato paste sauce.


  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage to the bowl and toss to coat with the dressing.
  4. Spread the cabbage mixture on a large baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
  5. While the cabbage is roasting, heat the tomato paste in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  7. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  8. Add the roasted cabbage to the skillet with the tomato paste and stir to combine.
  9. Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and stir to combine with the cabbage and tomato paste.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
