This recipe is a delightful combination of gooey melted mozzarella cheese in a delicious pie crust. It’s a simple and satisfying dish that is perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, and cherry tomatoes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the cheese mixture over it.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cheese mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown and set.
