  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup okra, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


  1. In a rice cooker, combine the rice, chicken broth, onion, garlic, cumin, and paprika.
  2. Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle the sliced okra and chocolate chips over the chicken.
  4. Close the rice cooker and set it to the regular cooking cycle.
