Ingredients
- 8 sardines (fresh or canned)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
- 1 lime
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips or warm tortillas for serving
Instructions
- If using fresh sardines, clean and fillet them. If using canned sardines, drain and set aside.
- Place the sardines on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
