Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup mocha coffee seasoning blend
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the mocha coffee seasoning blend, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mixture over the chicken.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5 minutes each side until browned.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and minced garlic.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad.
