Mocha Chicken Recipe

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup mocha sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the other tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until browned.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place in a greased baking dish.
- In the same skillet, add the mocha sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
