Mocha Glazed Chicken Recipe

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 cup mocha coffee
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin.
  3. Rub the chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  5. In another small bowl, whisk together mocha coffee, honey, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar.
  6. Place the browned chicken breasts into a baking dish and pour the mocha mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water.
  9. Remove the chicken from the oven, and pour the cornstarch mixture over the mocha glaze.
  10. Return the chicken to the oven and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  11. Remove from oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving hot. Enjoy!
