This recipe is a quick and delicious way to enjoy the flavors of a classic pizza on a French bread base. It’s perfect for a casual dinner or a fun gathering with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup of pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (mozzarella or a blend of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on each bread half.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the marinara sauce on each bread half.
  5. Evenly distribute the pepperoni slices and chopped bacon over the cheese.
  6. Add the remaining cheese on top of the pepperoni and bacon.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
