Pineapple Chicken Sandwich
A delicious and refreshing sandwich with grilled chicken and juicy pineapple slices. Perfect for a summer lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 pineapple slices
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- While the chicken is grilling, toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a grill pan.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it into thin strips.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
- Place a lettuce leaf on four of the bread slices.
- Top with grilled chicken slices, pineapple slices, and tomato slices.
- Cover with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
