Pineapple Fried Rice

Enjoy this flavorful and colorful dish with a hint of sweetness from the pineapple!


  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 200g of ham, diced
  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside to cool.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onions and sauté until they become translucent.
  4. Add the diced ham and cook until it starts to brown.
  5. Push the onions and ham to one side of the pan and add the cooled rice to the other side.
  6. Stir-fry the rice for a few minutes, breaking up any clumps.
  7. Add the pineapple chunks and mix well.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  9. Pour the sauce mixture over the rice and stir until everything is well coated.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Continue to cook for a few more minutes until everything is heated through.
  12. Serve the pineapple fried rice hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
