Plum Glazed Steak Stir Fry

This Plum Glazed Steak Stir Fry is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender steak strips with a sweet and tangy plum sauce. Served over a bed of rice, it’s a satisfying meal that’s perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500g steak strips
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1/4 cup plum sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan or wok over high heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
  3. Add the steak strips to the pan and season with salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the plum sauce and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  5. Return the steak to the pan and toss to coat it in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Serve the plum glazed steak over the cooked rice and garnish with some chopped green onions, if desired.
