Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the chicken breasts with the spice mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Once melted, add the lemon juice and stir to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, coating the chicken with the lemon-butter sauce.
- Transfer the chicken to serving plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
