This recipe makes juicy and flavorful grilled chicken breasts that are perfect for a summer meal. It is easy to prepare and requires only a few ingredients. This recipe is for 4 people.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh parsley leaves, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Generously season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and oregano.
- Brush the chicken breasts with the oil and herb mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Place chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into it.
- Serve the grilled chicken breasts hot with fresh parsley leaves scattered on top (optional).
