Roast Beef with Root Beer Glaze Recipe

This recipe serves four people and can be served with your choice of side dishes like roasted potatoes or steamed vegetables. The root beer glaze adds a unique flavor to the roast beef and elevates its taste.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. of roast beef
- 1 can of root beer
- 2 tbsp. of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp. of salt
- 1/4 tsp. of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the roast beef and sear on both sides for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the roast beef to a baking dish and pour the root beer over it.
- Add salt and black pepper on top of the roast beef.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
- Bake for around 1 and 1/2 hours or until the internal temperature of the roast beef reaches 145°F.
- Remove the foil and continue to bake for additional 10 minutes to allow the glaze to thicken and caramelize.
- Let the roast beef rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin pieces.
- Serve the roast beef along with the root beer glaze.
