Roast Beef with Root Beer Marinade Recipe

This roast beef recipe is perfect for the meat lovers out there! The root beer marinade adds a unique twist to the classic dish. Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of roast beef
- 12 ounces of root beer
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine root beer, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
- Place the roast beef into the bowl and coat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Remove the roast beef from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.
- Sear the roast beef for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned.
- Transfer the beef to a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over it.
- Roast the beef in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice the beef against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
