Ingredients
- 8 fresh figs
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the figs under cold water and gently pat them dry. Cut each fig in half lengthwise.
- Place the fig halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Roast the figs in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly caramelized.
