Root Beer Glazed Chicken Breast Recipe

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 can of Root Beer (12 fl oz)
  • 1/4 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the root beer, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and garlic.
  6. Pour the root beer mixture over the chicken breasts in the skillet.
  7. Turn the chicken breasts to coat with the root beer mixture.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  9. Remove from oven, and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Serve chicken breasts garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy!
