Root Beer Glazed Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. of pork ribs
  • 1 can of root beer
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Arrange the ribs on a rack in a large roasting pan.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Pour the root beer into the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  5. Brush the rib racks on both sides with the root beer mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
  6. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven, basting occasionally with the root beer mixture, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until they are tender.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with any leftover root beer mixture.
  8. Let the ribs rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing them into individual ribs.
  9. Serve the ribs with any remaining sauce on the side.
