Salami and Cheese Sandwich Recipe
What Started it all:
salami, cheese, bread
Serve the Salami and Cheese Sandwich with a side of pickle and some potato chips. Enjoy the delicious sandwich with your family or friends!
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Salami, sliced
- 1/2 lb Cheese, sliced
- 8 slices of bread
Instructions
- Preheat your pan over medium heat.
- Add slices of salami to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and slightly browned. Repeat until all slices are cooked.
- Take 4 slices of bread, and lay 2-3 slices of cheese on each slice.
- Add cooked salami slices on top of the cheese.
- Add another 2-3 slices of cheese on top of the salami.
- Take the remaining 4 slices of bread and place them on top of the cheese.
- Brush the outside of the bread slices with a little bit of oil or butter.
- Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook 3-4 minutes per side or until the cheese is melted and bread is crispy and golden brown.
- Once the sandwiches are cooked, remove from pan and allow to cool for a minute or two before serving.
