Ingredients
- 1 package of Oreo cookies (regular or double-stuffed)
- 1 cup of Skittles
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 small serving bowls or glasses
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into small crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a ziplock bag and using a rolling pin, or by pulsing them in a food processor.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- In each serving bowl or glass, start with a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom. Add a layer of the cream mixture on top of the Oreos. Sprinkle a handful of Skittles over the cream layer. Repeat the layers until the bowls or glasses are filled, ending with a layer of Skittles on top for a colorful finish.
- Place the bowls or glasses in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
