Slow-Cooked Pork Shoulder Recipe

This recipe is perfect for a dinner party or a family gathering. The pork shoulder is slowly roasted in the oven, resulting in tender and juicy meat that falls off the bone. Serves 4 people.
Ingredients
- 4 lbs. pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the olive oil and seasoning mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, or until tender and falling off the bone.
- Remove the foil and broil for 5-10 minutes to create a crispy crust.
- Slice and serve with your favorite sides.
