Ingredients
- 1 (3-4 pound) boneless pork shoulder roast
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 brioche buns

- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture all over the pork roast.
- Place the pork roast in a large baking dish or Dutch oven. Cover with foil and bake for 4-5 hours, or until fork-tender and able to pull apart easily.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Once it is cool enough to handle, shred the pork using two forks.
- In a small saucepan, heat the barbecue sauce over medium-low heat until warmed through.
- Place the shredded pork in a bowl and toss with the warmed barbecue sauce.
- To serve, spoon the pulled pork onto the brioche buns and enjoy!
