Slow Cooker Chinese Lentil Cereal

Lentils, Garlic, cereal, slow cooker

Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cereal
- 4 cups water or vegetable broth
- Salt to taste
- Soy sauce for serving
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the lentils and place them in the slow cooker.
- Add the minced garlic and cereal to the slow cooker.
- Pour in the water or vegetable broth, and season with salt.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the lentils are tender.
- Once cooked, serve the Chinese lentil cereal in bowls, and drizzle with soy sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
