Smoky Burnt Ends Rice Bowl

This recipe combines the rich, smoky flavor of burnt ends with the simplicity of a rice bowl for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs burnt ends
- 2 cups white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the rice in the rice cooker and add the water. Cook the rice according to the rice cooker instructions.
- While the rice is cooking, heat the burnt ends in a skillet over medium heat until they are heated through.
- Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and divide it among 4 serving bowls.
- Top each bowl of rice with a portion of the heated burnt ends.
- Drizzle each bowl with BBQ sauce and sprinkle with diced red onion and chopped green onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
