Spiced Tuna Steaks with Cauliflower Mash
What Started it all:
Tuna, Cauliflower, spices (cumin, paprika, chili powder), oven
<em>(Preheating the oven and seasoning the tuna steaks)</em>
Ingredients
- 4 tuna steaks
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the tuna steaks with cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned tuna steaks on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the tuna is cooked to your liking.
- While the tuna is baking, steam the cauliflower florets until tender.
- Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Season the cauliflower mash with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the spiced tuna steaks with the cauliflower mash.
