Ingredients

  • 500g paneer, cubed
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and cook for a couple of minutes.
  5. Pour in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the butter starts to separate from the mixture.
  6. Add the garam masala, red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  7. Gently add the cubed paneer and stir to coat it with the sauce.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  9. Season with salt to taste.
  10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
