Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 fresh chiles, sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional, for garnish)
- 1 green onion, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with a pinch of salt.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken to the hot oil and cook until it begins to brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced chiles. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the corn kernels to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Add the sugar and soy sauce, stirring well to coat all the ingredients.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
