Spicy Indian-Style Ribs with Cabbage Stir-Fry

  • 2 lbs ribs
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Preheat the stove to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large pan, heat some cooking oil and sear the ribs until they are browned on all sides.
  4. Lower the heat and add the soy sauce to the pan. Let the ribs simmer for about 1 hour, or until they are tender.
  5. While the ribs are cooking, thinly slice the cabbage.
  6. In a separate pan, heat some more oil and stir-fry the cabbage until it's tender but still has a bit of crunch.
  7. Season the cabbage with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Once the ribs are done, serve them with the cabbage stir-fry on the side.
