Spicy Kidney Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the kidney beans, chopped bell pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  2. Pulse the mixture until smooth and well combined, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve with your favorite dippers such as tortilla chips, pita bread, or vegetable sticks.
