Spicy Kimchi Chicken Recipe

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of kimchi, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of gochujang sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • sliced scallions, for garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, gochujang sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, making sure each piece is coated evenly.
  4. Add the chopped kimchi to the baking dish, spreading it out around the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with sliced scallions and serve with rice or your favorite side dish.
