  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound of fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup of Szechuan sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon of minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic


  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the wok.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the green beans and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
  4. Remove the green beans from the wok and set aside.
  5. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the wok.

  7. Return the green beans to the wok with the shrimp.
  8. Season the shrimp and green beans with salt and pepper.
  9. Add the Szechuan sauce, red pepper flakes, minced ginger, and minced garlic to the wok.
  10. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring the shrimp and green beans are well coated with the sauce and the flavors are well combined.
  11. Serve the spicy Szechuan shrimp stir-fry hot with steamed rice.
