What Started it all:
chicken, rice, noodles, soy sauce
A delicious and satisfying dish that combines tender chicken with flavorful rice and noodles. The perfect meal for a family of four.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 200g noodles of your choice
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by cooking the noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Make sure you don't overcrowd the pan, or you'll end up with steamed chicken instead of nicely seared pieces.
- Push the chicken to one side of the pan and add the cooked rice to the other side. Stir-fry the rice for a couple of minutes until it's heated through and slightly crispy.
- Now, it's time to bring everything together. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, along with the soy sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve the stir-fried chicken with rice and noodles hot, garnished with some fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy this delicious and hearty meal with your loved ones!
