A delicious and easy-to-make Stromboli that serves 4 people, perfect for a quick dinner or a fun gathering!
Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings.
- Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other to form a log.
- Pinch the ends to seal and place the Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the Stromboli for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
