  • 1.5 kg pork roast
  • 250g okra
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 blender


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Season the pork roast with salt and pepper, then place it in a roasting pan.
  3. Roast the pork for 30 minutes per 500g, plus an extra 30 minutes.
  4. While the pork is roasting, prepare the fragrant okra rice.
  5. In a blender, blend the okra until it forms a smooth puree.
  6. Cook the rice according to package instructions, then stir in the okra puree.
  7. Once the pork is cooked, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the succulent pork roast with the fragrant okra rice.
