Ingredients
- 200 grams ripe plantains, mashed
- 2 small apples, peeled and diced
- 15 ml apple juice concentrate
- 5 grams ground sumac berries
- 120 grams empanada discs
- 30 grams unsalted butter, melted
- 5 grams cinnamon
- 2 grams Tirol chocolate Ramune mochi, finely chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed plantains, diced apples, apple juice concentrate, ground sumac, and cinnamon. Mix until well combined and set aside.
- Assemble the Empanadas: Take an empanada disc and place a generous tablespoon of the filling in the center. Be careful not to overfill. Fold the disc over to create a half-moon shape and press the edges together to seal. You can crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
