  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Celery sticks
  • Blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a wire rack inside a large baking sheet and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings and the spice mix, making sure every piece is coated.
  4. Add the flour to the bowl with the chicken wings and mix well to coat each piece.
  5. Transfer the chicken wings to the wire rack on the baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, until crispy and cooked through.

  7. Once the chicken wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over the top. Toss to coat.
  8. Serve the chicken wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
  9. Enjoy your classic chicken wings with a kick of hot sauce and sweetness!
