Classic Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Celery sticks
- Blue cheese dressing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a wire rack inside a large baking sheet and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings and the spice mix, making sure every piece is coated.
- Add the flour to the bowl with the chicken wings and mix well to coat each piece.
- Transfer the chicken wings to the wire rack on the baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, until crispy and cooked through.
- While the chicken wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the hot sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce, and whisk to combine.
- Once the chicken wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over the top. Toss to coat.
- Serve the chicken wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
