Tuna and Corn Sandwich
What Started it all:
tuna, bread, corn
A quick and easy recipe perfect for 4 people!
Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna
- 8 slices of bread
- 1 cup of corn kernels
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lettuce leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Drain the cans of tuna and transfer the tuna to a mixing bowl.
- Add the corn kernels to the mixing bowl with the tuna.
- Season the tuna and corn mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Mix well to ensure the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
- Divide the tuna and corn mixture evenly among 4 slices of bread, spreading it onto the mayo side.
- Top each with a lettuce leaf (optional) and cover with the remaining 4 slices of bread, mayo side down.
- Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally to create triangles.
- Serve and enjoy!
