Turkey and Fruit Skillet

Turkey Breast, Pea, dried fruits (raisins, apricots), skillet

<em><em>(Taking a deep breath and cracking my knuckles)</em></em>


  • 1 pound Turkey Breast, sliced
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1/2 cup Dried Fruits (Raisins, Apricots)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • Fresh Cilantro for garnish


  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the turkey breast slices with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
  3. Sear the turkey breast slices in the hot skillet until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Add the peas and dried fruits to the skillet, and sauté for a couple of minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and honey, and sprinkle in the chili powder.
  6. Simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
