Turkey Jerky Salad
What Started it all:

In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced red onion, diced avocado, and roasted almonds.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of turkey jerky, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 head of lettuce, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup of roasted almonds
- 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese
- Salt and pepper
- For the dressing: 1/3 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced red onion, diced avocado, and roasted almonds.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, to make the dressing.
- Add the turkey jerky pieces to the salad and drizzle the dressing over the top.
- Toss everything together to distribute the dressing evenly.
- Divide the salad onto 4 plates and sprinkle feta cheese over the top. Serve chilled.
