Vegan Radish and Pea Curry with Peanut Butter

This vegan curry is a flavorful and nutritious dish that combines the crispiness of radish and the sweetness of peas, all brought together with the creamy richness of peanut butter. Using the instant pot makes this recipe quick and easy for a delicious meal for four.


  • 2 cups radish, sliced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooked rice or naan for serving


  1. Turn on the instant pot and select the sauté function.
  2. Add the radish and peas to the pot and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter with water until smooth and pour it into the instant pot over the radish and peas.
  4. Add the salt, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and paprika to the pot and stir well.
  5. Close the instant pot lid and set the pressure valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  6. Once the cooking time is complete, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then carefully do a quick pressure release.
  7. Open the lid and give the curry a good stir. If the curry is too thick, add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.
  8. Serve the curry over cooked rice or with naan.
