Ingredients

  • 400g yakisoba noodles
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced

  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup yakisoba sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aonori (dried seaweed flakes) for garnish
  • Beni shoga (pickled red ginger) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the yakisoba noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the onion, carrot, bell pepper, and cabbage to the skillet and stir-fry until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked yakisoba noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the chicken and vegetables.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the yakisoba sauce, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Pour the sauce over the yakisoba noodles and toss to coat everything evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Divide the yakisoba chicken among serving plates and garnish with aonori and beni shoga.
